City Furniture Hire is to launch its most impressive range of new products to date at Live Experience in March. Created by internationally acclaimed designers, the ‘light up’ furniture adds a new dimension to the company’s already impressive collection. Featuring seating, tables and bars the furniture emits a soft, sensual light creating an ultra modern lounge atmosphere.  In addition, they will be showcasing some of their most popular products and accessories from their sister company Funky Furniture Hire.

Case Study: Crazy Chair Challenge

At City Furniture Hire we love a challenge, and with the expectations of the events industry at an all time high, we are put to the test on a regular basis. As one of the capital’s most prestigious venues, East Wintergarden’s events schedule is demanding and with last minute bookings and alterations they need a hire company they can rely on. Back in August, we were asked to provide the furniture for 3 different events over 24 hours; an afternoon product launch for 500, a party for 750 in the evening and an early morning conference for 600. As one the UK’s largest furniture hire companies, we sailed through the challenge delivering on time and within budget.

In September, we were presented with what seemed to be an impossible task - to set up 1500 chairs for an event at the Camden Roundhouse. Not a problem we thought…unfortunately, the real test was having only 30 minutes to remove them. On a mission to succeed, we decided to film the removal and amazingly completed in just under 12 minutes (Crazy Chair Challenge available on You Tube – with added humour).

These challenges are a regular occurrence at City Furniture Hire and we welcome the opportunity to push our capabilities and maintain our reputation as an industry leader. Our furniture has featured on prime time televisions shows, at major sporting events and well-known festivals, enhancing our already impressive profile.
